Position Overview:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for performing advanced business analysis and solution design to support RQI Partners’ use of Salesforce. This role works closely with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance, and IT to understand business objectives, analyze processes, and translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. The Senior Analyst combines strong business analysis expertise with deep Salesforce technical knowledge to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value while aligning to established architectural standards.
Position Holder is Accountable For:
Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate business objectives, operational challenges, and user needs through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional solution designs.
Design and implement Salesforce solutions that align with business outcomes, technical feasibility, and platform best practices.
Hands on configuration and enhancement of Salesforce functionality across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud & Revenue Cloud Advanced.
Collaborate closely with other Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and integration teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, data flows, and system interactions to support solution design and change management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization using Salesforce-native capabilities.
Participate actively in agile delivery ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Conduct and support testing activities including system testing, UAT planning, defect triage, and deployment readiness.
Evaluate Salesforce features, releases, and AppExchange solutions and provide informed recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay current with Salesforce innovations, proactively assessing new features, beta programs, and industry trends to recommend transformative enhancements to business processes and platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 7 years of overall IT or business systems experience with minimum 4 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
Strong experience performing business analysis including requirements gathering, process modeling, and solution validation.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds.
Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as custom objects, Flow, validation rules, security model, and automation.
Working knowledge of Salesforce programmatic capabilities including Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
Solid understanding of integration patterns and experience supporting integrations with ERP and third-party systems.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
Commitment to continuous learning and platform innovation.
Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Consultant preferred.
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $115,000 to $125,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
